Hopeman West Beach
Sand and rock beach west of Hopeman harbour on the Moray coast; small pieces of sea glass collect behind the big rocks towards Burghead.
Lossiemouth's West Beach runs from the harbour towards Covesea lighthouse on the Moray Firth. The old fishing port is named in Scottish sea glass guides, and collectors report finding a steady supply of well-rounded glass here over a few days' searching. The rocky coast further west towards Covesea and Hopeman also produces occasional pieces.
Frosted white, pale clear turquoise, pale and olive green, milky green and a few clear pieces, almost all well rounded; one visitor found about 75 pieces in three days. Best after a high tide.
