Lossiemouth West Beach
Moray fishing-town beach where visitors report frosted white, pale turquoise and green sea glass, best after a high tide.
Hopeman's West Beach runs west from the harbour towards Burghead, a mix of sand and sandstone rocks on the Moray Coast Trail. It is easy to get to from the village. Sea glass hunters say the large rocks at the western end are where the glass gathers.
White, green, amber and seafoam glass. Look around the large rocks on the western side of the beach, heading towards Burghead, where lots of little pieces get tucked in behind them.
