Boulmer Beach
Discover Boulmer Beach: serene coastline, traditional fishing village ambiance, and natural beauty, perfect for tranquil retreats and scenic strolls.
Alnmouth is a pretty village at the mouth of the River Aln with a long sandy beach running north towards Boulmer. Collectors describe it as reliable rather than prolific, with the rocky ground north of the car park towards Boulmer less picked over than the main sands.
Mostly white glass of mixed quality, with green and brown; blue, aqua and amber are occasional. Work the strandline after north-easterly blows, the rock bases and pebble patches north towards Boulmer, and the estuary margins at low tide.
