Wisemans Bridge Beach
Enjoy Wisemans Bridge Beach: serene setting, historical significance, and scenic woodland walks, perfect for peaceful relaxation and nature exploration.
Saundersfoot grew as an anthracite coal port, and its harbour still sits on the main sandy beach. The sandy middle is the weak part for glass; the harbour margins, rocky stretches towards Coppet Hall and the narrower Glen Beach south of the harbour are where collectors look. It's an easy, beginner-friendly beach next door to Wiseman's Bridge.
One family found over twenty pieces in a visit, mostly clear and green, including a couple with patterns. Guides list green, brown and white as common, with blue, aqua, amber and turquoise occasional and cobalt, black, lavender and red rare. Search the pebbles at the base of the harbour walls at low tide, the strandline after easterly weather, and Glen Beach.
