St Ives-Harbour Beach
St Ives Harbour Beach, nestled in the heart of the town, is a picturesque and bustling beach, especially popular during low tide when its golden sands extend widely. Ideal for families, the beach is sheltered within the harbor, offering calm waters for swimming and a perfect spot for building sandcastles. The beach's proximity to the town center provides easy access to a variety of shops, galleries, eateries, and the famous Tate St Ives art gallery. Its location offers stunning views across the bay and is a great place to observe the comings and goings of boats in the harbor.

While parking in St Ives itself can be limited, there are several car parks around the town's outskirts. The Park and Ride service is a convenient option, especially in summer. If you choose to drive into town, early arrival is recommended to secure a parking spot due to high demand.

From Truro, take the A30 west, then the A3074 directly into St Ives. Follow signs for the town center or harbor. Parking in St Ives can be challenging, especially during peak season, so consider using the Park and Ride service from Lelant Saltings. Once in the town, the harbor beach is easily accessible on foot, being centrally located and well-signposted.

Public toilets are available close to the harbor and throughout the town center.
