Mounts Bay Beach
Enjoy Mounts Bay Beach: breathtaking views, historical landmarks, and marine activities, perfect for scenic exploration and water-based fun.
Sennen Cove is a long sandy beach just round the corner from Land's End, popular with surfers and swimmers. Most of it is sand, but there are pebble patches and an all-pebble stretch by the harbour and jetty where glass gathers. Several guides and recent finders recommend it, though it gets busy in summer.
Mostly green, blue and white glass with some sea pottery; recent reports also list amber, seafoam, soft blue, lavender and teal, and one reader found red and turquoise by the harbour. Harbour pieces tend to be larger and less smooth. Search the pebble 'islands' and the pebbly area west of the southern car park ramp near the jetty.
