Sheringham Beach
Discover Sheringham Beach: traditional charm, vibrant promenade, and tidal pools, ideal for family outings and seaside exploration.
Hunstanton is the only west-facing resort on the East Anglian coast, known for its striped red and white chalk cliffs and rock pools. Norfolk's countryside charity calls it a good place for sea glass washed up by the tides, and local news has reported beachcombers collecting glass and pottery here, with Old Hunstanton also recommended. The cliffs are unstable, so keep away from the base.
Sea glass and pottery near the high tide mark; finders have turned up old bottle fragments, including one possibly from a Norwich brewery. Locals say Old Hunstanton, just north, is also good.
