Visiting Lyme Regis Beach

Getting there
From Exeter, take the A30 to Honiton, then switch to the A35 toward Lyme Regis. Follow the signs to Lyme Regis town center or beach. Public parking is available close to the seafront. The approach roads are well signposted but can be narrow and busy, especially during peak tourist season.
Parking
Several pay-and-display car parks are located near the beach and town center. Holmbush car park is one of the largest and provides easy access to the beach. It's advisable to arrive early during summer or on sunny weekends to secure a parking space.
Toilets
Public toilets are available near the beach and along the seafront promenade.
Safety
Check the tide times before you go and head out on a falling tide, so you're never cut off. Keep away from the bottom of cliffs, wear sturdy shoes on rocks, and only take sea glass and other man-made rubbish: pebbles, sand and shells should stay on the beach.
