Cawsands Beach
Enjoy Cawsand Beach: a picturesque cove, clear waters, and a historic village setting, perfect for swimming, kayaking, and coastal walks.
Bovisand is a set of four small coves on the eastern side of Plymouth Sound, mostly sand with pebbly patches and rock pools. A detailed finder's report on a sea glass site says the glass collects in the pebbly patches, and Cornish guides point Devon visitors here too.
Glass comes in a wide range of colours, usually heavily frosted, and one collector found five chunky red pieces. The fourth bay has the most glass and the second also has a lot; the first and third have little. Look in the pebbly patches and higher up the beach.
