East of Herne Bay town the beach runs below the grassy Downs towards Beltinge, mixing shingle banks with clay and fossil beds. A Kent beachcombing blogger found around a hundred pieces of sea glass here, though most were small. It's also good for fossils and sea brick.
Mostly greens, aqua, yellow, brown, white and olive; pieces are mostly small, with only a handful bigger than a 10p coin out of about 100. Look on the first bank of pebbles from the sea at low or mid tide.
