The rocky foreshore between Anstruther and Cellardyke is part of the East Neuk of Fife, a string of old fishing villages known among beachcombers for sea glass and pottery. A local maker in Cellardyke collects glass, driftwood and patterned china from these rocks, and a recent collector report rates it highly for both amount and colour.
Loads of glass including cobalt, teal, aqua, seafoam and soft blue as well as green, amber and white. Patterned pottery and china (1800s–1900s, some Victorian) collects between the pebbles at low tide.
